2. My Son holly land - The world cultural heritage .

My Son, is about 45 km from Hoi An, a group of Champa ancient structures including more than 70 temples, and towers. All dates back from the 4 to the 13 centuries. The cultural and the historical values of My Son are embodied in the remaining designs and epitaph. My Son is ranked as highly as other well-known relics in Southeast Asia such as Angkor (in Cambodia),Pangan (in Burma) Borobudure (in Indonesia),etc.Most of the temples were dedicated to the Cham Kings, associated with divinities, especially Shiva, who was regarded as the
founder and protector of Champa's dynasties.

Cham Museum :sits in garden of frangipani trees. Its display of graceful, sometime severe, terra cotta and sandstone figures give a tantalizing glimpse of an artistically inspired culture that ruled most of southern of Vietnam for a thousand years.In the late 19-century, French archeologists started collecting statues, friezes and altars from once magnificent Cham City and sanctuaries dotted around the hinterland of Da Nang. In 1916, they opened the Museum in an attractive open sided building whose design incorporates Cham motifs .
Marble Mountains :Located approximately 8 km from Da Nang and 20 km from Hoi An,closed to the China Beach.There were five mounts,named according to each of the five elements of nature: Kim Son (metal mount), Moc Son (wood mount), Thuy Son (water mount), Hoa Son (firemount), Tho Son (earth mount).
Of the five mountains, Thuy son is both the largest and the most beautiful. Thuy Son Mountain consists of three main peaks namely Thuong Thai, Trung Thai, and Ha Thai. 7.My Lai Massacre:
My Lai or Son My are various names of Tinh Khe, a village lies along the seaside of Son Tinh district, Quang Ngai province.
It is considered one of the most beautiful villages in Quang Ngai province, and the villagers are hard-working, simple-minded peasants and they love peace.
Nevertheless, early in the morning of March 16, 1968,a unit of US Army suddenly entered into the village and murdered 504 innocent civilians who were mostly the old women, children, and babies. Then they destroyed the entire village. After the horrible morning, My Lai (or Son My) was engraved in humans hearts a very painful feeling that we will never forget.

8. Hue Citadel- World cultural heritage :
Hue The First World Cultural Heritage Site in Vietnam
At the meeting of the 17th session of the World Heritage Committee (WHC) in Columbia, from the 6th to t he 11th of December 1993, UNESCO has cometo the decision of recognizing the architectural ensemble of Hue as a world cultural heritage. On 2 August 1994, the delivery of the recognizing text has been organized at the Imperial Palace of Hue. This was a noteworthy event in the cultural history. For the reason that Hue is the first site in Vietnam ever listed in the World Heritage list
The WHC has briefly assessed the value of Hue as follows:
"The architecture of Hue, which has been the Capital of a unified Vietnam,built at about the beginning of the 19th century, combines the oriental philosophy with the traditions of Vietnam. Intimately mingled with the natural environment, the beauty and special richness of the architecture and decorative art of the building are an original image of the Vietnamese monarchy at its most prosperous period " .
The fact that the imperial city of Hue is now listed as a World Heritage Site may represent a new chance for Thua Thien Hue Province and for the whole country in general.
The wonders of Hue can hardly be described to do them justice, and the best way to discover them is still to come in person and admire the beautiful constructions.
